●EF66 27 is the second batch of EF66 0 series cars, and is the last remaining 0 series car inherited from JNR to JR Freight. When it underwent renovation work in September 2006, it was the last renovated locomotive and was deployed in the service while still painted in JNR colors, and has continued to attract attention ever since. It was removed from regular service in March 2022, but remains in the vehicle register and has not been scrapped.
